Summary: In this alternate path, the same characters live a completely different story. Elizabeth Bennett is abducted at a young age and raised as the granddaughter of a duke as Lady Elizabeth Montlake. Darcy is friends with her brother Avery and the two share a connection which the Duke does not approve. When Darcy travels to Hertfordshire, he hears the tale of Elizabeth Bennett and meets Kitty who resembles his friend Lady Elizabeth. Will he unravel the truth and what will the outcome be if her does?

Things I Liked:

* I wasn't sure about the premise when it began, but I was drawn into the story! The audio is delightful.

* It was intriguing to have Darcy be the one who was not good enough for Elizabeth.

* I loved the sweet relationship between Elizabeth, Lady Sophia and Avery.

Things I Didn't Like:

* The doll scene was too heavy handed for me.

* Darcy and Elizabeth flaunt propriety for the time and it feels out of character.

* Elizabeth meets Jane and the Gardiners in this version, but she won't interact with the rest of the family until book 2.
