Summary: In this alternate path, the birth order of the Bennetts is completely changed, Mary as the eldest and Elizabeth the youngest. Mary is married to Mr. Collins, having saved the family from the entailment. Darcy (on the heels of Wickham trying to elope with Georgiana) stays in London while Bingley moves into Netherfield to fall in love and marry Jane. Darcy meets Elizabeth at the wedding and gets to know her as she stays in London with Jane, then later with the family at Pemberley.

Things I Liked:
* It was nice that there was no great misunderstanding to overcome. This is more of a slow, sweet getting to know each other with almost no angst.
* The Darcy is less proud and more likable than many versions.
* I liked this decisive version of Bingley. He knew what he wanted and went after it, keeping his sister mostly in check.
* Wickham is dealt with quickly with the quickness of Elizabeth and the neighborhood.
* No Lydia except for the occasional letter.

Things I Didn't Like:
* The change in birth order didn't work. I think part of the reason that each sister has her personality is because of birth order and not just innate personality. Having the most logical, least flighty sisters be the youngest seemed strange.
* There was no drama. I kept expecting it. Lydia will come back in scandal--nope. Mr. Collins will keep them apart somehow--nope. Lady Catherine will abduct her to keep them apart--nope. When the (small) drama came, it was resolved so quickly I almost forgot it happened.
* The lack of the entail did not make Mrs. Bennett any less flighty or any more appropriate. In the original, we always wonder how the entail and lack of security made her the way she was, but here she was no different.
